Organic Keemun Hao Ya Black Tea was first produced in 1875. One of THE Chinese traditional black teas with more than 200 years history and tradition passed down from generation to generation, this is a refined Keemun with a slightly smokey aroma and a malty flavor similar to cocoa with no astringency.
Keemun is only produced in Qimen County of Huangshan City in Anhui Province. Grown between the Yellow Mountains and the Yangtze River, it goes through a slow withering process which creates a more floral aroma and flavor than is normally found in black teas. Hao Ya has a more intense flavor than other Keemuns as it contains mostly leaves and few buds.
Our premium loose leaf Organic Keemun Hao Ya Black Tea can be steeped several times.
