Que She oolong tea is a half rock tea grown in the ban yan area of the Dahongpao Scenic Area in Wuyi. The leaves are thinner than most Wuyi oolongs. Que She is a rare cultivar as not much is grown. The cultivar was discovered in the 1980's and is also called Sparrow's Tongue.
Grown and harvested by hand, this Que She has been medium roasted over lychee charcoal. Lychee charcoal produces no smoke and adds no flavor.
A smooth and perfectly balanced Wuyi oolong with hints of lychee, vanilla and a good mineral flavor. Long lasting aftertaste.
Our 2018 Ban Yan Que She Oolong Rock Tea will give strong, clear brews for at least 8 steeps.

This tea is packaged in thick, bpa-free plastic bags with a reusable zip lock top to keep your tea fresh. One side is black, the other side clear. All bags are heat sealed.
We highly recommend using a gaiwan to get the most out of this tea. Start with a quick rinse at 212F followed by repeated steeps at 212F. An 8-10 second first steep works well.
