Our Rou Gui oolong tea was grown and harvested by hand in the zheng yan area of the Dahongpao Scenic Area.
Also called Cassia, this Rou Gui was processed to bring out the fruit flavors. It was medium roasted over lychee charcoal. Lychee charcoal produces no smoke and adds no flavor. Very balanced flavor with no harshness or astringency and with a good mineral taste.
This tea is pure Rou Gui cultivar. It is not blended.
Our 2018 Zheng Yan Rou Gui oolong rock tea will give at least 8 strong, clear brews.

We highly recommend using a gaiwan to get the most out of this tea. Start with a quick rinse at 212F followed by repeated steeps at 212F. An 8-10 second first steep works well.
